Do you already sell on eBay?
It’s certainly a valid way to make money from home and the ones who are successful with it do very well. I’ve been thinking about it myself recently, because there are some changes which should make it easier for honest merchants to do well. Basically eBay are taking measures to get rid of the ‘undesirables’, which is good for all of us.
To learn about the best ways to sell information products on eBay (that’s what I’ll be selling) I’ve been reading lots of blogs and I recommend you do too.
I came across John Thornhill’s blog the other day and there’s a lot of information on it. If you visit here you’ll read something very interesting. John talks about eBay’s new feeback. Now it’s not possible to leave negative feedback for your customer.
eBay just put power back into the hands of the customer. That should do two things pretty quickly.
1) It will kill off all those businesses that are selling garbage.
2) It will force sellers to offer a better quality service.
That’s very good news for me and you.
Why?
Because it means we can compete on service. If you offer your customer a good buying experience and look after them, not only are you likely to get good feedback, but you’re more likely that they’ll come back and buy from you again. And that is definitely a good thing for anyone wanting to make a living at home. Repeat business is cheaper and better than having to go out looking for new business all the time.
